Mickel Motorsport have agreed a Multi-year deal with Lindhill Properties and all parties are very excited about their driver line-up which includes the 2009 UK National Legends Champion, Lee Fitzpatrick and also young gun driver Luke Ttakoushis who is a racing rookie.

Lindhill operate in property development and specialise in the sourcing, management, financial appraisals, and delivery of mixed-use property developments.

Gary Fitzpartick, Chairman and founder of Lindhill Properties said "Lindhill are extremely thrilled to be back in the UK National Legends Championship with Mickel Motorsport. It’s a great racing series and offers not only best value but some truly exciting racing. A combination of experience and youth, Lee Fitzpatrick and Luke Ttakoushis should make for an exciting partnership and one that will be successful and display the full potential of the Lindhill Properties racing car"

Testing went very well at Brands Hatch for Luke who drove the quirky 1934 Legends Ford Coupe for the first time.

Luke’s introduction and inaugural race start will be at Snetterton this coming weekend and then he shares the #55 Lindhill Properties Limited car with Ex-Champ Lee Fitzpatrick at Pembrey next month.

Luke Ttakoushis said "I am very much looking forward to my Legends journey, hopefully it is one that involves lots of enjoyment and even more success. Having former champions as my teammates and Mickel Motorsport running the car will help me learn and develop along the way. Knowing Lee, he will definitely push me to my limits, and I am excited to see how our partnership grows. Most of all I am thankful to Lindhill Properties for making this happen."

Lee Fitzpatrick said "It’s been a while, but temptation has got the better of me and I am looking forward to shoehorning my larger and older frame back into a legends car. Having experienced racing many formula’s in my time, Legends is the only one I would come back to. I’m excited to be passing my knowledge onto my teammate and getting the car up to pace to hopefully challenge for podium and wins in no time."

John Mickel, MD of Mickel Motorsport said "The first time I set up a Legends car for Lee was back in 1999 and we had some really great race weekends. This is going to be another great partnership and we are very excited about having an ex-champ and a rookie on board."
